The catalyst for this week's challenge comes from a post on the Zentangle blog . A photo, taken in Italy, led to the deconstruction of the design, which was then translated (into the language of Zentangle), and a step-out by Maria. Now all this tangle needs is a name!
Great idea, Laura . This was a really fun one to play with!!

I love the shading n this, wonderful tile. Great job!
ReplyDeleteGreat work. A lovely pattern combination, and I love your free-style drawing!
ReplyDeleteWonderful! lovely colours and fab shading!
ReplyDeleteGreat, just great!
ReplyDeleteThe zia is a lot of fun, I think.
Your composition on this tile is super. I love how 'mary and susan' are hiding in your ZIA
ReplyDeleteGreat pieces of art. The first one is really beautiful, great effect by useing red for the background tangle and black/grey and white for the pillars.
ReplyDeleteCool effect and perspective! Your ZIA looks like you have mixed in 'favourite things' fun, fun, fun!!
ReplyDeleteFun, fantastic , and flawless!
ReplyDeleteLovely. Really like the red background on this one.
ReplyDeleteThe "bumps" look like they have been placed on top of that tile. So 3D. Your ZIA is coming along beautifully.
ReplyDeleteI also love the red background, very nice work!
ReplyDeleteI love the two-tone effect, it gives a lot of dimension to your tile.
