" Grid (un) Locked " Challenge #122

Grids are one of my favorite tangle-strings.  While they may seem ridged and boring, they are really quite versatile and interesting when they succumb to a bit of alteration.  So, in response to this  Zentangle Newsletter, the Diva's challenge is all about grids.

ZIA 4" square -Sakura Micron black #01/0.25mm; graphite shading; stamped background w/gray ink.

  1. Love the dimension you achieved in this tile. It looks like a view of a coloseum somewhere with fireworks on the left.

  7. Beautiful! I love the perspective and the stamped background. Your use of value is very effective, and the border patterns are a great addition. I do love that large dandelion-like rising sun design! I really like this piece, if you couldn't tell :-)
