Zendala Dare #85 & Happy New Year

The Bright Owl has started off the new year with an unusually interesting zendala template.  I had lots of fun with it - albiet, unconventional.

Zendala - Sakura Microns Brown & Black; PrismaColor Pencils on tinted tan paper
If you have not yet seen Erin's Zendala, take a look here.  It is gorgeous!

  1. Tricia, this is just so unique. At first, I saw an eye on fire! The colors are bold and the white tempers them perfectly. Yes, it is unconventional, but just fascinating. I can hardly stop looking at it. Wonderful work!!!!

  3. I think your use of Carol Ohl's Featherfall is very unique and creative. I like the way it works with this template to create a beautiful organic zendala. The colors are a great combination.

  4. I totally agree with Jean. I have a large, round mirror that has peaces of orange/red glass at the edges and your zendala makes me think of it.
For me it's a beautiful image of the solar plexus chakra.
In one word, I love it!!!
